Chinati.org Receives Major Upgrade

Have you been to the Chinati Foundation website lately? If not, it's definitely time for another visit. Chinati.org recently received a major update which includes a new look and tons of great content that can absorb more than a few hours of your day. Kudos to the foundation for getting this done. Each of artists in the foundation's permanent collection (Judd, Flavin, Chamberlain, Horn, Wesley...) is featured with a brief write-up and viewable images. Other details include mission statement, tours, accomodations, membership and artist-in-residence program.

The site was expertly designed and constructed by local Marfan Buck Johnston of bbgun Interactive. Great job Buck!

If you haven't read about this year's Open House program, there's a page devoted to it here. By the way, this year's special exhibition will be work by David Rabinowitch and a musical performance by Sonic Youth! (Apparently I can't write Sonic Youth without one of these "!".)
