Bosworth and Webb Gallery at The Do Right

Campbell Bosworth will be showing new paintings and sculptures. Camp's show will feature a ten-foot replica of the Marfa water tower. The silver-leafed sculpture has been painstakingly engineered to dispense fine tequila. Camp will be showing several new paintings displaying his storytelling skill in his carved wood relief paintings, mostly depicting life in the Big Bend. Also on display, will be over 150 small clay heads of cowboys, wrestlers, bikers and societal misfits.
The Webb Gallery will be showing the paintings of Ike Morgan. Ike paints portraits of George Washington and produces hundreds of paintings a year. His artwork has been featured in many major exhibits including Jean Dubuffet's Collection l'art brut in Lausanne, Switzerland and the Museum of American Folk Art in New York. The exhibit will be open Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m and possibly Friday and Sunday afternoon. The Do Right is located at 108 W. Dallas. It is a church building and recognized by the large, orange horseshoe in front.

I CAN'T WAIT to see Camp's Tequila Tower, and, dream on, to drink from it... This must be where all that Corralejo goes!
I was born in Marfa in 1965 and look forward to going there almost every Thanksgiving....now I have even more to look forward to. And as for the this wonderful Tequila Tower....only one Tequila comes to mind that makes sense to put in there: Dos Lunas Silver or Reposado which to me are the best tasting, smoothest Tequilas I have ever tasted...ironically, the company is based only a hop, skip, jump away from Marfa-- in El Paso to be exact.
